Step into the exciting world of Permaculture, a way of living with your land that's healthy, sustainable and affordable. This series is intended for small scale home gardeners, hobby farmers, experienced home gardeners and beginners, who want to create a beautiful, interesting, productive home “estate”.

We will investigate the concepts of permaculture, with a focus on designing for plants, small scale permaculture and how it relates to sustainable gardening. We'll discuss many topics including windbreaks, water capture and rain gardens, beneficial plants, pollinators, bird and butterfly gardens, and even soils.

This session, part 1 of 3, will focus on the fundamentals of small scale gardening the permaculture way. We'll introduce you to the principles of permaculture and guide you toward cultivating your own Eden. Then we'll talk about how to "see" your property so you can make an assessment of your assets and begin the planning process.

Each session is just $15.00 per person (plus tax) and includes $5.00 toward a beverage of your choice, including wine. Handouts and other materials will be available as well. Sign up for all three sessions at once and receive a $5.00 discount.

Come early to enjoy a wholesome sandwich, soup or salad from the HUB menu and network with other participants.

Call (920) 893-9000 to register. Payment due with registration. Spaces are limited to the first 25 participants.
